Japanese Coalition for Animal Welfare

Established in 1997, JCAW aims to raise awareness of animal welfare issues in Japan...

The Japanese Coalition for Animal Welfare has been working to promote animal welfare since 1997. Their most recent work has been focused on a joint effort with the Japanese Association of Zoos and Aquariums (JAZA) in order to convince the government to create more effective regulations for animal exhibits.

“We are vey grateful to AWJ for providing us with the funds necessary to keep our organisation running,” say JCAW. “Thanks to AWJ we are able to continue our important work.”
